CLAAS AXION 960 TERRA-TRAC by Wiking. 1/32 scale model tractor.
Released on preview day one of the Agritechnica 2019 show in Hannover Germany, 3000 pieces were available to model collectors and Claas fans for most of the week at a cost of €89.99.
Given it is a limited edition tractor, it is packaged in a unique box with actual tractor images on one side.
Pros
Cost, not unreasonable.
Finish, mostly well executed
Function, as with most Wiking models, plenty of items to keep the owner busy
Tracks, look superb and rotate very freely.
Cons
Front linkage detail seems to have taken a step back with silver rivets seen over the painted grey of the past.
Left side door opens the smallest amount possible, blocked by the handrail.
Overall,
A very impressive tractor model by Wiking and Claas. With previously released Terra trac Lexion and Jaguar editions, this 445 horse power Axion model is a must have !!
