Torino is a city and an important business and cultural center in northern Italy.

Murazzi was built between 1833 and 1835.

Until the fifties of the twentieth century, the premises obtained within these margins were used for the storage of fishing boats. In the following twenty years, river pollution led to the progressive abandonment of the area by fishermen: this situation led to a strong de-qualification of the area.
Within a few years, the Murazzi have therefore become one of the most important places of Turin's nightlife and youth gathering in the city, also achieving national and international fame. To frequent them, before embarking on a career as a songwriter, was also Levante.

In 2012, an investigation by the Turin judiciary led to the gradual closure of most of the clubs and breweries on both sides of the Murazzi, due to various administrative and sanitation irregularities [2], a closure that continues for most of them still in the year 2021.
