I understand that chemistry can be complicated and intimidating, but it irks me when people recklessly spread unfounded claims and scam science that can put people in actual danger. Boiling fluoridated tap water does not, CANNOT, will never produce toxic fluorine gas -- it is physically and chemically impossible to do this. If you need to boil your tap water, particularly after being instructed to do so by those in charge of supplying you with tap water, please do so. Boiling the water might not make 100% eliminate whatever contaminant is at issue, but it will definitely NOT produce fluorine gas.
