When you need to have your will drafted you need to pick an executor. An executor is also known as a personal representative. This is the person who will administer and take care of your estate after you have passed. There are dangers to not having a will because you cannot decide on an executor. It is better to have your will put together and then, for a very nominal fee, make the change to someone else if you change you mind down the road.
