Mt. Tecumseh is regarded as a good starting point for people looking to get some experience hiking in the White Mountains. It is still on New Hampshire's list of 4k footers despite more current measurements allegedly being just under at 3,997. Hey, it is still on the list, and I still did it!
It can be done easily in day hike fashion, and it borders some slopes in the Waterville Valley area. Parking in the Skii area seems to fill up quickly if you come in the winter, so get an early start. Here is the link to my hike. Keep in mind time taken to video. It should provide a good estimate of time needed for beginners and slow movers.
Sound drops out for some reason at around the 3:30 mark and returns around 4:15 mark. Not sure why! Sorry about that. Thanks for watching and pointing it out Seth!
