BIRTHMARK REMOVAL ⤵️
This patient no longer wanted her birthmark on her face which can typically be a very sensitive area to treat. We’re about halfway through her treatment so let’s go over it:
The removal of nevus of Ota using lasers is a highly effective approach. Nevus of Ota, characterized by the presence of blue or grayish pigmentation on the face, especially around the eyes, can significantly impact a patient’s self-esteem and overall quality of life. We created a customized laser treatment using my unique settings to offer a safe and minimally invasive solution for addressing this condition.
These lasers emit high-intensity, short-duration pulses of light that target the melanin in the pigmented lesion without causing significant damage to the surrounding skin. By precisely targeting the melanin, the laser breaks down the pigment particles, allowing the body’s natural processes to gradually eliminate them. This approach minimizes scarring and post-treatment complications, making it the best choice for treating nevus of Ota.
