During the cold war, there was a Civil war between the Communist Pathet Lao and the Royal Lao Government from 23 May 1959 to 2 December 1975(16 yrs)
During that time there was the Vietnamese war, November 1, 1955 – April 30, 1975(20 yrs)
Which ALSO during that time US decided to come on in and bomb Laos for who knows what reason 💀🤚 and dropped over 270 million cluster bombs, up to 80 million did not detonate. This war was known as the secret war, which lasted 1964 to 1973(9 years) US basically just dropped A BUNCH of Bombs every 8 mins everyday(24 hrs) for 9 whole years 💀🤚
