Hari Om!
Swami Aparajitananda reveals the secret of the law: Bondage prescribed by Scriptures gives freedom (Ātmavinigraha).
10. Why VAIRĀGYA TO SENSE OBJECTS is glorified in Gītā, describing such pleasures as duhkha-yoni (Chp. 5), is further elaborated upon by explaining Bhatrhari's verse by logical analysis of examples of worldly joys giving bhayam and only Vairāgya giving abhayam.
To cultivate Vairāgya, it is suggested to train the mind to pay attention to pain on one hand and to direct the mind to higher joys of Spirituality on the other.
11. NIRAHAMKARA
Ahamkāra is differentiated from māna in respect of sense of doership and possession. Being an instrument of God helps cultivate this virtue (Eg. Hanuman). At the same time, crime arising from vāsanās and its doership cannot be attributed to God.
12. ANUDARSHANAM
Anudarshanam is emphasized and defined - constantly seeing defects of sorrow, body, world - not ignoring the harsh realities of life is said to be the way to Mumukshutvam. It is suggested to serve the old and sick to cultivate and practise this virtue. Specifically, various old age problems and the only one solution i.e. "Turning to Spirituality" is also discussed in detail.
