In today's video, we will show you how to create dotted or dashed cut lines with Scissors in Microsoft Word.
Open Microsoft Word or the Word file you need.
Go to Insert tab at the top panel. Look for symbols block. Click on Symbol at the top panel. Select More Symbols from the list.
New window will open. Set Font to Wingdings. Look for scissors' icon. Select it and click on Insert. Click on Close.
Select the scissors’ icon. Go to Home tab at the top panel. Change the icon size at the top panel.
Now, we will add a line. Go to Insert tab at the top panel. Click on Shapes. Select the line. Press Shift on the keyboard. Draw a line.
Select the line. Go to Format at the top panel. Click on Shape Outline. Go to Weight. Select the line weight you need.
Click on Shape Outline at the top panel. Select Dashes from the list. Choose the style you like.
If you want to change the color, click on Shape Outline at the top panel. Select the color you need.
