In this video I'm sharing 6 tips for slow cooking in the Instant Pot. I'm using the Pro 6Q (5.7L) so your mileage might vary with other models. I demo the tips by cooking up a delicious harissa slow cooked chicken tagine as part of the video and I've put the ingredients below for you. I'm not an experienced slow cooker so it's taken me a while to get the hang of it as the Instant Pot doesn't work if you use standard slow cooking recipes. These tips will help you along if you are a keen slow cooker but I think I'd hang on to my slow cooker until you've done some testing of your model, as it's not the easiest process. I hope these tips help. Let me know if I'm missing something. I'm sure I am :)

🥘 Instant Pot Slow Cooked Chicken Tagine Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion
600g boneless, skinless chicken thighs
2 tbsp rose harissa (or your preferred harissa)
2 cloves of garlic
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp smoked paprika
50g dried apricots, roughly chopped
50g chopped pitted green olives
1 tin chopped tomatoes and 1 tin of water (using the can)
1 tin chickpeas (drained)
300g butternut squash
300g carrots
350ml stock
90g/3¼oz low-fat plain yoghurt
To garnish:
Preserved lemon or grated lemon zest
Flat leaf parsley
Serve with couscous or rice
Cooked for 5 hours on Slow Cook High in the Instant Pot Pro
