The 27th track from the bootleg 'Live at River Heights Community Club, Feb. 1966'.
'Shakin' All Over' was the song that got The Guess Who started. It's similar to The Beatles' 'My Bonnie' or The Moody Blues' 'Go Now', as a song that wasn't a breakthrough single, but helped pave the way.
The "Bob" who is spoken to by one of the group members during the intro, is Bob Burns - their manager at that time. He was also CJAY's (Winnipeg television station) Teen Dance Party host, and can be seen interviewing the Beatles in on August 18, 1964 while they were in Winnipeg on their way to Los Angeles for refueling. Burns got a taste of John Lennon's humor when Bob introduced himself to John, and was given the reply "that's not my fault". Burns died in 2010.
Both Burton Cummings and Chad Allan perform together on all of these recordings. It is not confirmed, but it is most likely Allan's last performance with the group.
