Using the woodmizer lt40 sawmill to mill 2x8's out of a tapered log while making sure I make the right CANT size is easy if you plan ahead and in this video I'll show you how I do it.
When dealing with tapered logs on the sawmill you just have to work with the small end and plan for the CANT height you can make. Setting up the log CANT early will ensure the last board is the same thickness as the first. I'll show you how with the woodmizer lt40 in action in this video. Let's get some ponderosa pine on the sawmill and turn it into a lumber!
