River and I made a quick trip up to the off grid shed to cabin conversion project. Freshly fallen snow left the trees blanketed and drooping. It was like a winter wonderland. The temperature got down to 1 degree Fahrenheit, the coldest that I have stayed in the cabin so far. After the cabin warmed up initially it was comfy and cozy the rest of the time. This trip found me finishing up the trim on the ceiling and the walls of the shack. Now I can finally take those ladders back to the river house. While setting up the log bed, the foot board fell over right on top of River! Luckily he wasn't hurt evn though he reminded me of how I had almost killed him the rest of the weekend.
