◈ What is the Dream SMP?
The Dream SMP (DSMP) was a private Minecraft survival multiplayer server hosted by the content creator Dream and featuring many more prominent (or soon-to-be-prominent) creators in the gaming and streaming community, including Technoblade, Tommyinnit, Wilbur Soot, etc. The Dream SMP server started in April of 2020. Streamed on Twitch and Youtube, it rose in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic, renowned for its complex plot, despite it developing as loosely-scripted roleplay. The server officially closed on April 10th, 2023, but retains a strong fanbase.

◈ What is Tell Me a Dream & what makes it special?
Tell Me a Dream (TMAD) is the first completed novelization of the entire Dream SMP storyline. The trilogy is a canon-divergence. This means that while it adheres to the general storyline of the Dream SMP and captures major events, even long-time DSMP fans will find a slew of surprises. Every character has their own backstories and motivations unique to TMAD, explored through an array of POVs. The trilogy is outfitted with illustrations, maps, and original songs!

◈ Who are the Mad Sisters?
The Mad Sisters - Unicadia and VAERYS - are adult sisters, and the authoresses of Tell Me a Dream. They, along with the third sister, Deorhyne Flamesight, write the songs and create the artwork and maps.

◈ Is TMAD affiliated with the content creators?
Tell Me a Dream is not affiliated with the real-life content creators, streamers, Youtubers, etc. and respects their boundaries. The characters portrayed in TMAD are the Mad Sisters' own versions of the in-game DSMP characters.

◈ How can I support Tell Me a Dream?
You can support TMAD through clicking the kudos button on AO3 (the equivalent of "liking" something on other platforms), commenting on AO3, and by spreading the word about the trilogy and its server. Please note: this project does not involve monetary revenue and does not expect any.

◈ Will TMAD ever get published as a physical book?
That's the dream. But we would have to gain permission from every Dream SMP content creator to use our versions of their characters.
