A series of dance films from NORMGROUND, a summer initiative led by Botis Seva and Far From The Norm company dancer Victoria Shulungu where eight dance artists joined us in the studio with a pure spirit to help one another and develop as artists.

We had a special time with each of these artists who stripped their ego away and got to work, and it was a blessing to be in a room with people who will continue to work and push through hard times - the space we created is a place where you can be vulnerable but at the same time find the play and enjoyment.

All of us felt as though this programme could have been longer and we hope to continue this work in the future.

Far From The Norm is a Hip Hop theatre company based in London, producing live theatre performances, outdoor shows, immersive experiences and film. Our performers bring to the studio a range of dance styles from Popping to Breaking, Krump to House, and it is with their informed knowledge of different dance styles that Botis is able to question, learn and translate what else is possible.
