There are 2 main Theories of Learning.
"Vigotky" The teacher called “MKO” helps to shap the thinking skills with their input.
"Piaget" developed theory based on the active involvement of peers.

Peer-To-Peer is an innovative educational practice that increases the students’ sense of empowerment and self-motivation. It helps develop leadership, shared responsibility, and self and reciprocal motivation. Knowledge acquired today will not be enough for clinical practice in future years.
