Hey Strava users, did you know you can see your heart rate on your ANT+ enabled device and Bluetooth Smart capable phone without wearing the annoying chest strap? The Scosche Rhythm+ is an accurate, comfortable to wear armband heart rate monitor which you can easily connect to Strava to see your “suffer score,” “points in the red,” and other heart rate training metrics to measure your exercise intensity.
Here’s how you can connect the Scosche Rhythm+ to Strava using your iOS device
iOS Connection
1. Turn ON Bluetooth in iPhone settings
2. Open the Strava app and select More
3. Select Settings
4. Select on External Devices
5. You will see an option for Bluetooth Sensors. Swipe the slider to the “ON” position
6. Under Manage Sensors Swipe the Heart Rate to the “ON” position.
7. Secure the Rhythm+ around your forearm and press and hold the multifunction button for 2 seconds to turn on.
8. RHYTHM+ successfully connected!
Android Connection
1. Turn ON Bluetooth in Android settings
2. Open the Strava app and go to your menu and select settings
3. Turn Bluetooth Sensors on and Select Bluetooth 4.0 (Low Energy)
4. Check the box next to Heart Rate
5. Turn on RHYTHM+
6. RHYTHM+ successfully connected!
7. Start Workout!
