This video describes in a very clear and pedagogical way, the Higgs mechanism. This mechanism explains the dynamical origin of the mass of some fundamental particles. We explain the three big steps for the mechanism to occur, including the necessity of having spontaneous symmetry breaking of local (gauge) symmetries. We also describe all the necessary conditions for the mechanism to be able to operate. Finally, we include a scene where some characters playing to the fields describe how the mechanism operate.
