My first slip-fit axe! I've wanted to try one since watching @benscottwoodchopper discuss them so when I came across an old head for cheap at a local auction I grabbed it up and carved a Green Ash heartwood handle for it, which turned out nicely (if I say so myself). The handle feels great, but a shorter one might be better.
I've discovered some more info since I uploaded the video.
The head is 2 3/4 lbs. I have since found out that it was made in Hull by Walters and distributed by Burgess Tools Ltd. in Ottawa. According to post on Blade Forums (link in a comment reply) they were made for export (to South America?) and a bunch of them turned up in a warehouse when Walters closed down and got sold locally in the 80s (by Lee Valley Tools?).
