"Welcome to the Cafe 80's, where it's always morning in America, even in the afternoo-noo-noon".
This scene was conceived to try out some renders with Vray and I chose this place from one of my favourite movies. After all, as Doc Emmett Brown would put it : if you're gonna make a render with Vray, why not do it with some style?
It took about 1 month to conceive, 2 weeks of which had been mainly spent trying to identify all or most of the memorabilia found in the original Cafe.
Software used: 3dsmax, render Vray
On a side note, I will be moving to Toronto by the end of January, so if a company is interested in hiring me, feel free to contact me.
Music: Beat It - Michael Jackson and Burn The Book from the original Back To The Future part II soundtrack.
Big Thanks to "Bluehavok" from BTTF.com who provided me with a scan of the menu, the 49ers parking sign and the Reagan newspaper. Thanks to Rémi Brulin as well who gave me the archive of the other LA Times found in the scene.
