A young Jim Corbett while on the hunt for the Panar man-eater stops by at a local temple in a quaint little hill-town of Devidhura in 1910. The master storyteller then recounts the series of unique events that followed leading to the "most interesting shikar experience of his life".
In true Corbett fashion he manages to accomplish the nigh-impossible task of creating suspense through his words while maintaining a humane attitude towards the animals involved.
