Half way through WILD's six vlog commission for the On a Tree by a River project run by Tame Valley Wetlands in conjunction with Severn Trent Water, the RSPB and the West Midlands Bird Club. Here we focus on five direct impact interventions made by the project throughout every year and crucially realised by the work of some incredible volunteers. Also we tantalisingly glimpse the now very elusive Willow tits deep within the young birch plantations searching out dead wood to excavate nest holes. As always lots of wildlife to see from an early blossoming Springtime.
Shot with Panasonic GH5 (ambient b roll and activities), DJI Mavic (aerial perspective of activities) and Panasonic FZ82 (all wildlife/bird content).
RODE Lavalier GO for some in the field talking audio coupled with a TASCAM digital recorder. Natural soundscape caught using TASCAM independently.
