🙏 Class Description:
In this 60 min hatha yoga flow we are working towards the peak pose Wheel (Urdhva Dhanurasana). During the first half of the class we are preparing the body with more gentle backbends, hip flexor openers and sun salutations. The second half of the class gives you plenty of time to explore deeper backbends as well as different wheel pose variations (e.g. tip toe wheel, one leg wheel, forearm wheel) plus two flow sequences going into wheel from Wild Thing and Malasana.
This practice is an intermediate level class. Some of the postures are quite advanced. Make sure that your body is warmed up properly before you go into the deeper backbends. Feel free to make adjustments / do different postures/variations when needed.
See you on the mat my beautiful yoga friends.
Janice

Yoga means to me? 'coming home to yourself'
Self-sensitivity. Developing awareness and thereby a feeling for oneself – for the body, thoughts and emotions – recognising one´s own needs and giving them space.
Change of perspective. Instead of looking outwards, looking inwards – reviewing expectations (one´s own and those of others) – discovering what matters most in life.
Self-love. Accepting oneself – getting in touch with one´s own life-themes – developing a loving attitude towards oneself and others.
