Soma Bay is a now established kitesurf resort in the Red Sea. Located approximately 50km south of Hurghada and 10km north of Safaga with a short 30-40 minutes transfer from the airport. The area has grown out of the development of hotels abound the 7km wide bay over characterized by it's flat water bay, excellent wind strength throughout the day and remote, desert setting. If it’s a relaxing beach resort with ideal sailing conditions and low key nightlife that you’re after, Soma Bay is an excellent choice.
