Evacuation orders were lifted as crews continue to battle a fire in Butte County on Saturday. The Gunnison Fire is burning north of Chico, and has charred about 350 acres and is 40% contained as of 5 p.m. As of around 4:30 p.m., forward progress has stopped on the fire, officials said.
