This series of videos is intended to explain the differences and similarities between pediatric and adult acquired brain injury. We will discuss Traumatic and Non-Traumatic Acquired Brain Injury throughout the series and how the similarities and differences between children and adults with Acquired Brain Injury effect the course and long term outcome of their brain injuries.
In this first episode we give a brief overview of the epidemiology of Acquired Brain Injury in kids, the most common causes of Pediatric ABI, and the differences between Adults and Kids regarding their physiology.
