We were honoured to have the Governor-General of Australia, HE General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and HE Mrs Linda Hurley join us for a memorable Gala Dinner on 15 May 2024, marking the 75th anniversary of Australia-Indonesia diplomatic relations and the prestigious 2024 Australian Alumni Awards. With over 200 guests in attendance, including distinguished Australian alumnus HE Dr Airlangga Hartarto, Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, the evening was a testament to the strong bonds and shared history between our nations.

The Gala Dinner also featured alumni MCs Marissa Anita and Tommy Tjokro, performances by Ananda Sukarlan and Dian Mega Safitri, and an exhibition on Australia’s support for Indonesia’s independence. Congratulations to this year's exemplary Australian Alumni Award winners: Meutya Hafid, Fandy Dawenan, and Alvin Sariaatmadja! Your outstanding contributions to your professions and communities continue to strengthen the ties between Australia and Indonesia.
