The Lems Boulder Boots have gotten a slip-resistant, grippy sole just in time for ❄️ winter, so I’ve been trying them out everywhere. On the deck after it rained, on slippery rocks by a stream, and I tried to simulate some winter with a bag of ice…overall, the grip sole is going to be a big help during winter. You can be one of the first to try out the new style with this giveaway! The boots will be available on the Lems’ website starting October 10.
They have all the features I love about the original Boulder Boot:
✔️ A wide, foot-shaped toe box
✔️ A flat and flexible sole
✔️ Leather, waterproof uppers with a breathable membrane
✔️ And a great-looking moc toe design
The Boulder Boots have about a 13mm stack height, but are still very light weight thanks to the use of air injection rubber. This slightly thicker sole is also helpful during winter to add a little bit more separation between you and the cold ground.
Fit & Sizing: The Boulder Boot Grip Waterproof uses Lem’s wide last, which is technically in the middle of their three width options. I find these pretty roomy in the toes, and a good fit for medium and wide feet. I typically wear a US7.5, and went 1/2 size up in these to a US women’s 8. I do this pretty often for winter boots to accommodate thicker socks.
