These bowling drills are great practice and have helped me strengthen my wrist and forearm over time and have allowed me to not only learn and improve my release but learn how to put it all together with my full approach:
1. No Step/Foul Line Drill
2. 1 Step Drill
3. 4 Step Drill
As a bowler, we are already thinking about so many things all at once that it becomes overwhelming and that we forget how to throw the bowling ball.
By being able to focus on the release, we can reduce the amount of variables involved and develop the feel and technique as you become a better bowler.
As your feel and technique improves, you’ll be able to increase your rev rate, stay behind the bowling ball more and integrate it all into your full approach.
