August 29th, 2023 - Manhattan, NY: At approximately 3:30 a.m., officers in the Midtown South Precinct responded to the area of 40th St. and 7th Ave. for a water main break that ruptured the street and led to a waterfall to develop on the northbound tracks of the 7th Ave. Subway line severing service between 14th St. and 96th St. while a large response in utility crews worked to get the massive flow under control.
