This track was inspired by the effort and tenacity that our fans displayed while competing to win our custom built GUNSHIP Arcade Machine. "The Holy Arcade Machine Of Antioch"

GUNSHIP said “The entire fanbase collaborated to solve the many layers of the puzzle, and the insanely ludicrous lengths some fans went to to complete the final gate just blew us away. We felt immediately compelled to write a track dedicated to the intense, never give up , never surrender, gaming spirit we’d witnessed…

In the end ‘The Video Game Champion’ celebrates that classic 80s spirit of pushing against the odds, rising up to the challenge in the face of adversity. It's about honing your skills and being the best. We also hope we’ve made a positive track which hopefully appeals to the competitive gaming scene too…. “
