"The continent of africa contributes only 3% historically of all the emissions. Africa looses 7-15 billion dollar every year due to climate change. If we dont change it would grow 50 billion dollar a year by 2030. Fact of the matter is We didn't cause the problem but we need resources to adapt those issues. To support africa adaptation efforts afdb organized 25 billion dollar programme with the global center on adaptation known as africa adaptation acceleration programme. AfDB also opened African development fund which is concessional lending arm of the bank thats called climate action window. To mobilize upto 13billion dollars for adaptation in africa. This cop27 focus on africa main issue and we have program such as leaders dialogue on the African adaptation acceleration program. The detailed programme structure is available on the bank's website.
