It's that time of year that my Mainstays SFC1-500B was due for annual cleaning and servicing. I have had it for a year and so far things are going very well for it. I saw it was getting dirty and the motor was running dry so I said it was time to clean and service the fan. It also needed to be balanced and blades needed to be re-pitched so that they were all the same pitch. Now it runs much better, it's much happier now, and also moves a tremendous amount of air. Lubrication from the factory was surprising decent.... as my hands were covered in lubricant from me taking it apart to oil for the year.
