On this episode of Backyard Smoke, I will be showing you an alternative to a large turkey
A Smoked Turkey Breast is an awesome cut to have on Thanksgiving day, and if done right you may never go back
Step One: Brine your Turkey Breast, this will impart more flavor and keep it juicy during the cook. Follow all instructions on the brine packaging. I brine 1 hour per pound of meat
Step Two: After the brine pat the Turkey breast dry and season with your favorite rub, we are using Georgia boys BBQ AP rubs from Savory Spice.
Step Three: Preheat smoker or grill to 275 and add in apple wood. Set up for indirect cooking and place the thickest part of the breast closest to the flame.
Step Four: Pull between 160-165F let rest for 20min.
Step Five: Enjoy
