Underground Kingdom 1 takes us into ant life and shows us how black African Stink Ants build their nest. The worker ants are pretty industrious creatures and their powerful mandibles are the most important tool required to dig up the earth and create nests for the colony. The ants usually work in groups with unity of purpose. In this video, one ant in the lot seemed to be working against the others by occasionally dumping soil in the holes already excavated by its colleagues. This happened a number of times which got me wondering the motive or reason for that behavior. But nature is awesome and things always don't follow normal patterns. There are often abnormal ant or animal behaviors that defy reason.
