This video contains two matches I had with the recently buffed LV4 Gelgoog Jager on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 450-650 cost support with excellent mobility, great DPS when cycling weapons properly, decent stagger accumulation, good durability and good leg breaking ability. Its weaknesses would be poor melee ability, no instant stun without charging and a large MS hitbox. This suit was recently buffed with more HP, more ranged modifier for 550-650 cost, +5 walk speed for 600-650 cost, LV2 Leg Buffer for 550-650 cost, +5 boost speed for 600-650 cost, +3 turn speed for 600-650 cost, more beam machine gun power for 550-650 cost, more arm beam gun power for 550-650 cost, LV1 Forced Injector, LV2 Forced Injector for 550-650 cost, 12% arm beam heat, +50m arm beam range and better arm beam firing speed. These buffs mostly targeted higher levels of the suit which was unfortunate, but the addition of Forced Injector and better arm beam gun performance definitely makes it a better choice even for 450-500 cost. I could have played a bit better in these two games if I was aiming for leg breaks, but instead I opted for easier shots that were more likely to hit. I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary weapon at LV4 is a beam machine gun with 650x3 (3000) damage, 15%x3 (85%) heat, 1 second cooldown, 15 second overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 515m (665m) range, 4 seconds focus time and 20%x3 (50%) stagger value. This has all round pretty good performance, with it having good damage and decent stagger accumulation as long as your aim is on point.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 1840 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time and standard melee modifiers. This has low power and the somewhat slow Gelgoog Marine moveset, but is still useful for self defence since the suit has balancers.
Its first sub weapon is a beam spot gun with 380 power, 12% heat, 440 RPM, 15 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 250m range and 10% stagger value. This cannot stagger on its own but has great damage output and 1.5x damage to the enemies legs. It works excellently when you combo it with your beam machine gun.
Its second sub weapon is a head vulcan gun with 92 power, 80 ammo, 450 RPM, 6 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 150m range, 690 DPS and 2% stagger value. These have poor stagger value which means that they are not really useful. You have your arm beam gun to easily clean up kills, so you only really need to use the vulcans if you overheat the beam gun by mistake.
The LV4 Gelgoog Jager has 125 walking speed, 190 boosting speed, 70 thrusters and 63 turning speed. While this doesn't make you the fastest support at 600 cost, it is still pretty damn good considering that you have LV2 Forced Injector.
In terms of durability it has 21500 HP, 22 ballistic resist, 27 beam resist and 17 melee resist. This is an absolute ton of HP, which is a good thing considering how large the Gelgoog J is. It has access to LV2 Leg Buffer and Head Buffer to further improve durability.
Overall while I think the buffs certainly helped, they could have gone further considering how powerful other 450 cost supports are. It can definitely combo easier between the arm beam gun and beam machine gun; but it still has lacking vulcans, weak melee and still cannot stun with the arm beam gun alone. If it got these aspects buffed alongside it then it would definitely be a strong support, but I think I can only call it a decent support as it stands right now. It needs good aiming ability but otherwise it is easy to position yourself in it, it is one of the fastest supports for 450-500 cost after all. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
