Update to my overall Blight-Ravaged strategy since uploading: Focus on open layouts at least until you get a good feel for the content, it is a lot tighter than normal Blighted maps. Focus on clearing out trash when you can to ensure bosses are frozen. Overlapping 2 t3 seismic towers on any choke point will guarantee full lockdowns on freeze-immune bosses. Put chilling towers (with freeze anoint) close to your core at the end of the path, so that trash mobs are mostly weeded out and don't flood your chill towers, as they are target capped (22 targets with a t3 empower tower).
Build your meteors as close to your core as possible without using up vital control tower spots. Damage is your lowest priority, once trash is cleared out bosses can be nearly indefinitely stun or freeze-locked and slowly killed. Just having at least 1 meteor tower in range of each choke point is enough for the most part, once you reach the point where mobs cannot make it to your core you can start building more and more meteors.
Maps that have doorways, like conservatory or crimson temple, are much harder and layout dependent. Towers are impacted by line of sight, and the narrow doorways can render a tower completely useless if it's not at the perfect angle. I recommend going much heavier on t3 seismics in these maps.
DO NOT VENTURE FAR FROM THE CORE EVEN FOR A SHORT WHILE
Towers will disable if you move more than approximately 2 standard screens away from them. Since your towers are likely a small distance from your core already, moving in the opposite direction can disable them, and it only takes a second for a boss to unfreeze and sprint past your control towers to your core. If two bosses hit your core, you instantly lose.
DO NOT FLIP YOUR T3 ANOINTED TOWERS TO T4s
Ring anoints are specific to the exact type of tower. T4 towers have their own anoints and are not affected by t1-3 anoints at all. For example, a t3 chill tower will freeze any mob that it chills virtually forever, but upgrading it to t4 will actually weaken it and can lead to losing the map.
Finally, if you are still struggling or just want to try-hard more, towers snapshot their last upgrade to the anoints you had equipped when you performed that upgrade. What this means is that you can swap on 2 empowering tower anoints to build your t3 empowering towers, swap 2 chill tower rings for chills, and so on. You can essentially have multiple "perfect" setups for different towers depending on your current needs. I will list a few examples of what I think are good anoint combos that don't use expensive anoints (feel free to switch to the expensive ones down the line, some of them are extremely strong, such as seismics):
Chill towers freeze + chill tower range (The range difference is super noticeable on these)
Meteor tower burning ground + meteor tower range OR meteor tower stun (These aren't huge bonuses, it's fine just to build them with burning ground)
Seismic tower range + seismic tower damage (this helps clear trash a little, the good anoints are more expensive, this one can be skipped for sure)
Smothering tower effect + smothering tower range (these are nice to add on later in the encounter if you have free spots, the aoe size is about the same as an anointed t3 empower. DO NOT flip your main empowering towers to smothering, they will no longer empower which is big loss)
Hey guys, thanks for checking out the new video! This was a quick live recording that I wanted to get done after discussing my blight-ravaged map strategies earlier today.
Here is the PoB for the character I played for this video: [ Ссылка ]
Build guide will be coming, but for now just know that it is a work in progress and is focused on map clear and full clearing scourge safely, bossing is OK but requires a good arena for spark. Long term it looks like Voltaxic Burst is a good swap for harder bosses.
No specific build is needed for this strategy! It is 100% tower based, as long as you can survive the map itself (stay away from those bosses!), you'll have an easy time on any character letting Cassia and your towers do all the work while you sit back and count your exalts!
This is the same strategy I used to farm over 100 consecutive no-fail t14+ corrupted blighted maps in 3.15. I tested this along with many other tower strategies and found this to be by far the most consistent and easy to setup. Kick back, relax, and watch your favorite Lolcohol crafting videos while you farm that casual Headhunter you've always wanted!
The anointments that I used in this video are:
Your Chilling Towers freeze enemies for 0.2 seconds while they are affected by chilling beams
1 Opalescent + 1 Silver Oil
Your Meteor Towers create Burning Ground for 3 seconds on Hit
1 Violet + 1 Indigo Oil
If you would like to see more farming or uber content, let me know! I am psyched to get my strategies out there, so let me know what kind of farming strats you want to know more about!
