Leather can often become faded due to age, wear or excess sunlight. The way in which you will restore the colour of the leather will depend on the type of leather you’re working with.

If the leather is absorbent, the Leather Re-Colouring Balm is the most suitable product to use on your piece of leather. You can easily test this yourself by putting a drop of water onto the leather and waiting five seconds to see whether or not it soaks in. If the leather is absorbent, the water will soak in and darken the leather (don't worry, it'll dry back to normal pretty quickly); if the leather isn't absorbent then the water will bead up on the surface.
