This Dead Space Remake game guide video shows how to defeat the final boss in chapter 12 of the game - it's the Hive Mind. The fight takes place in the landing pad. There are a lot of crates in the area and you should check them regularly to resupply.
Focus your attention on attacking 6 orange spots on the boss's body. The Hive Mind boss will be throwing exploding growth at the arena - either eliminate it with ranged attacks or just stay at a safe distance waiting for it to explode. Hive Mind also performs limb attacks - run to the sides when you see that the boss is getting ready.
A group of standard necromorphs will appear. Focus your attention on them, because Hive Mind can't be injured for the time being and it'll leave you alone for a while. Make sure to stomp the monster's bodies to find extra loot.
The next phase of the boss fight is about destroying new orange growth in the middle of the body. It can only be done when the boss exposes its belly. Hive Mind will plant poison on the arena. Stay away from it and also pay attention to dodging series of limbs attacks - run left and right until the boss stops the attacks.
The last part will begin after the Hive Mind will grab Isaac. Try to aim at the last orange growth. Destroying it means winning the last boss battle.
