In this week episode we look at the Italian Christmas Nativity tradition or Presepe that goes back to 1233, and learn how it had adapted to the 21st century in Naples, Enzo's city, by taking a walk in Via San Gregorio Armeno, “Presepe street“ and then in our village where we visit Roberto Bertolini, a local craftsman who continues the tradition. We also create, as we do every year, our own crib, with the inn, the market sellers and many traditional characters, using Enzo's family's statues.
If you are interested in Roberto Bertolini's work we are very happy to put you in contact with him
