Amazon today successfully launched two prototype satellites for Project Kuiper, the company's foray into satellite broadband service. Amazon is planning 92 launches to reach a 3,200 satellite constellation that will be a direct competitor to SpaceX's Starlink service. The launch today was via an Atlas 5 by United Launch Alliance (ULA). The company will also be launching ULA's Vulcan launch vehicle when ready, and also plans launches from Arianespace and Jeff Bezos' own Blue Origin launch service.
