Isabel is lured to Eris' lair by her hyenas; Eris acts courteously to Isabel and explains that the locket shows her heritage and she can help her become part of it. Scrappy Doo believes that Eris is lying again, but finds that she has a bottle of Morgana's magic. A drop from the bottle lands on Isabel's foot and she is lifted into the air in a green vortex that transforms her into a mermaid, filling her with joy. Isabel jumps into the water and begins swimming around to her heart's delight. Scrappy Doo gets angry with Eris for not using the potion to change him back, but Eris tells him she's still reeling Isabel into her plot.
Later in the ocean, Melody and Ivan talk with Cassim about the situation. He assures them that he has sent search parties all over the ocean to find Melody and informs them that he will soon be joining them. Ivan thinks that Melody should go with them that he needs to stay to lead the search on land as she knows both Isabel and the sea better than anyone and Melody agrees with Ivan and having finally realized that she shouldn't have kept Isabel from the sea because it's a part of her and part of herself. Cassim uses his trident and transforms Melody back into a mermaid to search for Isabel.
