In today's video, we find out exactly how much it costs to build a house in Ghana. Kingsley from Asher & Gad walks us through his 4 bedroom home and shares the cost of the build from the foundation to its current state. Construction started in October 2020 so some of these costs may be outdated but it can still give you an idea of how much to start putting down towards your home. We cover the costs of the preliminary works, substructure, superstructure, finishing etc. He also shares some stories about his journey. Next week, we will cover some of the costs we missed, challenges building in Ghana, building versus buying in Ghana and walk through his GHS 5,000 tiny house.
