The super smash bros series is known for its larger roster of characters. Despite its large number of characters however, not every character can make it on there. That’s what assist trophies and pokeballs are here for, to represent characters that couldn’t make it onto the roster. In super smash bros ultimate there are 114 characters represented through the assist trophy and pokeball, however that’s not ever assist trophy or pokeball pokemon to exist in the smash series. So join me as I look at smash 64, melee, brawl, and smash 4 to cover the cut assist trophies and pokemon of super smash bros ultimate.
