Dr. Steven Sherman is Naguib Samaan Distinguished Professor and Chair in the Department of Endocrine Neoplasia and Hormonal Disorders within the Division of Internal Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Sherman's research focus is thyroid cancer. His work addresses a wide range of topics around care and treatment of thyroid cancer patients that include: the molecular biology of thyroid cancer, development of genetic tests for thyroid cancer, and the development of targeted therapies to treat the disease.
