This tutorial video is one of many videos I've created, showing you how to make doll clothes for a number of different dolls. Today's tutorial specifically shows how to sew a shirt for your vintage Velvet dolls (made by Ideal Toy Corporation in the 1970s).

I show you how to cut out the sewing patterns, how to stitch the shirt together, how to give the shirt a lining, how to use a whipstitch to hem the doll's shirt sleeves, and how to add snaps to your doll's clothes. When the tutorial video's over, we try the shirt or top on our dolls.
