Advisory for Indian Students seeking admission in Philippines
FMGL 2021 Regulations, Impact of New NMC Gazette 2021
Embassy of India, Manila, Philippines has issued an advisory for the benefit of Indian students and a copy of same is available on their official Facebook page. The advisory says that the Embassy has been receiving queries from Indian students and parents regarding MBBS in Philippines for the coming academic session. The advisory also says that the students and parents are advised to correspond directly with the college or institute in which MBBS admission is sought instead of the agent. A large number of complaints regarding fraud and cheating by agents for MBBS in the Philippines are being received by the Embassy. Students and parents should go through the Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate Regulations 2021 before seeking admission for MBBS in Philippines or trusting any agent. Any queries regarding the enforcement of new NMC regulations notification 2021 (FMGL-21) must be taken up directly with National Medical Commission (NMC).
