Foliar feeding is a technique of feeding plants by applying liquid fertiliser directly to the leaves. Plants are able to absorb essential elements through their leaves via the stomata’s and epidermis.
Although this is technique of feeding is not a substitute for healthy soil, it can get you out of deficiencies a lot quicker than re-amending your growing media or feeding through the root zone.
For this growth-promoting foliar feed we’ve used soluble trace minerals and a cold pressed seaweed extract. This works like a plant tonic by aiding the overall health of the plant. Making them more resilient and better defence against pests/disease.
Pro tip: Use a wetting agent/surfactant to help nutrients stick to the leaf and help penetrate the leaves’ cuticle. 🌿
