Try this Radhashtami Special Arbi Malpua, which have very crispy edges with a brilliant gold touch, while soft and netted centre. These juicy Malpuas are prepared all over the Braj dham to celebrate Srimati Radharani's divine Appearance Day.

Ingredients:
3 Arbi/ Colocasia/ taro roots (3/4th cup boiled grated arbi)
1 cup wheat flour
2 tbsp semolina/ rava
1/2 tsp cardomom powder
1 tsp crushed fennel seed
1 tbsp sugar
8 to 10 saffron strands in 2 tbsp milk
2 cups milk
For Sugar syrup:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 cardomom pods
4 to 5 saffron strands
For garnishing:
Pistachios and Almonds
