Westmont Los Angeles, California: Local residents infuriated after the police shot a black man - tensions rising between LA Sheriffs and a large group of people gathered to protest. Family of the victim have asked Black Lives Matter not to kick off their usual chanting against law enforcement.

At first it seems BLM is following the request of the family and started the protest off peacefully with fists in the air.

Above police helicopters are keeping a close watch of the situation in the area.
